We started Covalenty in 2025 because independent pharmacies in Brazil were still making dozens of calls each week just to find out who had stock and at what price. That problem has a technical solution. We decided to build it.
Our mission
Pharmaceutical procurement in Brazil is fragmented. Large pharmacy chains have dedicated buying teams, direct distributor relationships, and data that tells them exactly who offers the best price at any given moment. Independent pharmacies don't have any of that. They pay more, buy less efficiently, and spend hours on the phone that could go to serving patients.
Covalenty gives independent pharmacies the same information advantage that chains have had for years: real prices from every available distributor, instantly, in one place. No negotiation overhead. No phone tag. No guesswork about whether you're getting a fair price.
The mission is price transparency for the part of Brazilian pharmacy that was left out.

Radical price transparency
Every price on Covalenty is a real, current price that a distributor will honor. We do not show quoted ranges or estimates. What pharmacies see is what they pay.
Compliance without overhead
Every distributor listed on the platform holds a valid ANVISA authorization. Pharmacies do not have to verify credentials themselves. We do that before any listing goes live.
Level access for independent operators
Large pharmacy chains have data and buying teams. We exist to give independent pharmacies equivalent information so they can compete on the same terms, not on who has the most staff.
